SUPERVISION

As a Board Approved Supervisor with clinical and forensic endorsements, Dr Guha provides supervision that’s structured, reflective and practical, and tailors it to your stage of training and the setting you work in.

Who she supervises

  • Registered psychologists (professional and peer supervision)

  • Clinical and forensic psychology registrars

  • Postgraduate placement students

  • Provisional psychologists completing the 5+1 internship pathway

What supervision looks like

Dr Guha focuses on building clinical formulation and case conceptualisation, sound ethical and risk decision-making, and a professional identity that fits you. For registrars and provisional psychologists, she also works with you to keep your supervision plan, learning goals and Board requirements on track. Sessions are collaborative. She uses case discussion, reflection on your own practice, deliberate practice, video recordings, and reviews of your work to keep your skills developing.

Her supervision style is warm and approachable, and she is directive when the situation calls for it, for example around risk, or ethics.

Areas of interest

Her clinical and supervisory interests include risk assessment and management, offender and forensic mental health, trauma, complex trauma, domestic violence, court reports and expert evidence, and ethical practice in complex settings. She is happy to supervise outside these areas, but will be upfront about the limits of her expertise.

Single consultations for psychologists

If you’re an experienced psychologist, she can also offer one-off or ad hoc consultations. These suit complex cases, risk questions, report writing or ethical dilemmas, and they don’t require an ongoing supervision arrangement. She can also offer 30 minute slots if you have a question requiring a shorter session.

Fees

  • $240 + GST per [session / hour]

  • $240 (no GST) for provisional psychologists
